“It was inspired by a song by Twenty One Pilots and their album Blurry Face. I love the song, to me it’s about people killing their dreams. Since the song is called, We Don’t Believe What’s on TV, I wanted my subject to be wearing the TV because he’s attached to it, and the knives represent the death of his dreams. His attachment to the TV is what’s killing his dreams." ~KE
Kaitie Elizabeth is an artist in North Idaho. She was born 12 weeks premature and her first year was a struggle to live. While enduring a few complications from her early birth, she has learned to overcome and live a normal life. One of her chief adversaries was a pronounced condition of ADHD. However, she understood that ADHD gave her mind a unique point of view, and was determined to use that to her advantage. She began drawing complex pictures from an early age, and sees art differently than most. Her deep faith in Christ and her sarcastic point of view have provided her a distinct edge in her drawings. Kaitie is homeschooled in North Idaho and is co-host to a YouTube channel, Peanuts WillRule the World, a monthly broadcast specializing in satire. She also dances ballet and has studied martial arts.
